This isn't the time of the Hammurabi's Code. We don't do an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Let alone a life for a life. You shouldn't get killed for committing a crime. Because technically, doesn't that make the criminal the person who does the killing? But no, since the government approved it, it doesn't make it crime. That just doesn't seem justified to me.
